Other ways of being involved

Contact your local GP practice and join the patient participation group
Ask at your GP practice if they have a PPG and find out how you can get involved.

PPGs are an already established group of patients who have an interest in developing local health services.  The majority of GP practices have some kind of PPG and they meet either meet face-to-face or have some kind of virtual group.

Enquire within your own GP practice about what is available for you.
Join your local Healthwatch
Healthwatch is the independent consumer champion for health and social care in England. They make sure that the overall views and experiences of people who use health and social care services are heard and raised with the relevant organisations at a local and national level.

They will build a local picture of the trends and issues that matter most to patients and bring them to NHS Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group.
