People’s views are being sought on a draft report about the future of Community Health and Wellbeing Services for children and young people in Devon.
Following far-reaching public engagement by the Devon clinical commissioning groups and local authorities, a number of service specifications have been drawn up, summarising the feedback received from more than 200 children, young people, families and professionals. In addition, more than 640 local organisations were contacted.
The strategy document and service specifications are in draft form and will be available for comment here until 9am on Monday 13 November.
If you have any comments or suggestions on these documents, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Further documents, also for comment, will be uploaded to the NEW Devon CCG website as they are available.
Dr Anita Pearson, NEW Devon Clinical Commissioning Group’s clinical lead for children and young people, said: “Wherever possible, the comments and suggestions we receive will be built into the final documents, which will be finalised by 30 November 2017. This is a real opportunity to influence the services that we purchase for children and young people for the future.”
The formal procurement process will commence during the first week of February 2018, with a new contract awarded for services in place from 1 April 2019.
Further information about how you can be involved in the remainder of the procurement process will be posted on the NEW Devon CCG website during the next few weeks.
