It is also about using contraception and avoiding sexually transmitted infections (STIs) - which are on the rise.

Making positive choices about contraception and sexual health is important, not just for your physical health but also for your general wellbeing.

Health Promotion Devon runs a programme in Devon called C-Card.

C-Card is Devon’s sexual health programme for teenagers and young people up to 25 which offer free condoms through local access centres. The aim of the programme is to reduce the spread of sexually transmitted infections, as well as unintended pregnancies, in line with Devon’s Teenage Pregnancy and Young People’s Sexual Health Strategy.
